What is a Hair Drug Test?
It is a legally defensible drug test performed at our UKAS 17025 laboratory facility. Hair sample collection is undertaken using Strict chain of custody procedures. Next, we courier the hair samples to the laboratory. Once received, we measure the number of drugs and drug metabolites found inside the shafts of a lock of hair. We will take a small sample from the head or body. From this, we can establish the level of use over a time period. This can be from one week ago to the previous 12 months, depending on the length of hair.
